2014 Bachelor Advanced Program Admission Announcement

1. ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

Vietnam Maritime University was tasked by Ministry of Education and Training with deploying advanced training program industry "Global Studies and Maritime Affairs" in partnership with the School of Maritime Academy California, USA (CAL MARITIME). The program has been running for four years and is highly valued.

From the success of the program, the school is allowed to deploy another advanced training program major "International Business and Logistics" from the 2013-2014 school year. The program is opened to meet the manpower shortage of high quality logistics industry in Vietnam and Asia. This is a prerequisite for the development of ports, maritime economy, airports and related economic sectors of international trade activities.

2. ADMISSION SUBJECTS:

The student admitted to formal university training sectors of Vietnam Maritime University in 2014 (Groups A , A1 and D1);

Students currently studying full-time at Vietnam Maritime University;

Students attend university entrance exam of groups A, A1 and D1 in 2014 to other universities that have an equal or higher base score than the base score announced by Ministry of Education and Training;

Students who are attending the full-time study at other universities, with university entrance exam scores of groups A , A1 and D1 equal to or higher than matriculation point of Vietnam Maritime University of the same year.

3. TRAINING DURATION - DEGREE:

- Duration: Minimum 4 years (credit system)

- Degree awarded: Bachelor of Global Studies and Maritime Affairs; International Business and Logistics .

- The first year Tuition fee for International Students: 3000 USD/year. (1 year = 10 months).

4. SELECTION METHOD:

The School Admission Council will base on English proficiency or English test scores to organize entrance exams (TOEIC test forms and interviews).

Note: Candidates are exempt from English examination if they have certificates of TOEIC > = 450 , IELTS: 5.0 or other international certificates of equivalent value.

INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF EDUCATION WILL ORGANIZE EXAM PREPARATION CLASSES FROM JULY 10TH, 2014

5. APPLICATION:

Application for including photocopy highest language certificates (if any), Application for Admission, two 4x6 pictures.

Filing period begins on: July 10, 2014

English test: Session 1: August 10, 2014 ; Session 2: August 31, 2014
