Welcome Party for the 61st Anniversary of Vietnam Maritime University by the International School of Education on April 1st, 2017

On April 1st, the International School of Education held a celebration party to mark the 61st anniversary of Vietnam Maritime University. The party was also an opportunity for socializing and connecting, helping to strengthen the solidarity among students across all cohorts of the Institute.

The organizing committee arrived early to prepare food and drinks, and arrange seating for all students. The event kicked off with songs from the Guitar Club and a flashmob performance by the International Student Support Club and the Flashmob Club. Although the preparation time was short, the students put in great effort to perform at their best, and the performance was warmly welcomed by many students.

After the opening speech by the Institute Director, Nguyen Minh Duc, everyone raised their glasses to celebrate the joyful occasion of Vietnam Maritime University’s 61st anniversary in general and the Institute of International Education in particular. The organizing committee had prepared many fun games, and the students participated enthusiastically. From games like color calling, Chinese whispers, to answering tricky questions, all the students eagerly joined in.

Everyone raised their glasses to celebrate.

Finally, as a tradition and the common spirit of the ISE family, the program allotted a certain amount of time for everyone—teachers, staff, and all the students present at the party—to immerse themselves in lively music remixed by student Le Cong Thanh, class of 07, from the International School of Education (ISE).

Happy 61st birthday to VIMARU!

The party was a great success, spreading excitement and fostering a sense of unity among the students of the International School of Education (ISE) with the community, and creating a fun space for everyone to interact with each other. We hope that the students of ISE will continue to support and participate enthusiastically in such interesting and quintessentially ISE programs in the future.
