For faculty members, the goal of scientific research is to create scientific values that are applied to practical areas within their field of expertise and in the Institute's educational management.

Student Research Guidance: 10 Institute-level projects and 02 university-level projects.

Textbook and Teaching Material Compilation and Distribution: Collaborating with departments to review and supplement teaching materials.

Article Publishing in Specialized Journals:
- Completing the student scientific journal – ISE journal (September and March issues).
- Publishing 05 articles, including 01 international paper.

Organizing Conferences and Seminars:
- Organizing 3 discussion sessions for students in BMM and IBL majors.
- Participating in 02 seminars (with presentation).

- Implementing 02 Ministry-level research projects.
- Target for the academic year: 02 projects.

Implementing University-Level Research:
- For the Institute’s faculty and staff, the research direction will focus on international liquidity solutions in the logistics industry.
- Target for the academic year: 01 project.

Organizing and Implementing Student Research Projects:
- Continue to promote the student scientific research movement within the Institute.
- Inspire student interest in scientific research through activities such as flag-raising ceremonies, class activities, related courses, and individual meetings to guide students.
- Publicize the Institute’s scientific research journal and activities involving students through the student union, website, and meetings with staff.
- Target for the academic year: 10 Institute-level projects, including 02 university-level projects.

Textbook and Teaching Material Compilation and Distribution:
- Collaborate with academic departments to review and supplement textbooks, teaching materials, and training programs.

Article Publishing in Specialized Journals:
- Participate in publishing articles in domestic and international scientific journals such as the Maritime Science and Technology Journal, Ministry of Transport journals, and international scientific journals.
- Target for the academic year: 05 articles.

Organizing Scientific Conferences, Workshops, and Seminars:
- Organize scientific workshops/seminars for students in the advanced programs on topics related to maritime economics and logistics, business administration, and marketing.
- Target for the academic year: 03 workshops or seminars.

- Publish the scientific journal for advanced program students.
- Target for the academic year: 02 journal issues.
